Top Ten Tuesday Seventy Six – Top Ten Book Titles That Would Make Good Band Names

TTT 35 (6)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/ meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This weeks topic is one I was super excited about as soon as saw it, as it is such a unique idea and one that I couldn’t wait to give a go.  I spent so long looking at my bookshelves and imaging different book titles as band names with their own Spotify pages and stuff, and honestly it was so much fun to do.  I feel like there are so many book titles that would make for great band names, and so I can’t wait to see what titles other people have chosen as this topic just has endless possibilities!

So here are some book titles that I think would make for good band names!

This one sounds exactly like those bands with name like Noah and the Whale or Daisy Jones & the Six, and so of course it sounds like an awesome band name.  I can just imagine Eliza being a Daisy Jones like front woman who I would adore to be able to see in real life.

Ace of Shades

This is another one that just sounds like a good band name for some reason or another, and I just can’t pinpoint exactly why.  The Ace of Shades just sounds like it could be a cool rock band in a parallel universe rather than being an insanely cool book in this one.

Ninth House

For some reason I can just imagine hearing someone say that a song is by Ninth House or talking about it as if they are a like indie rocky band.  If I’m honest, I could totally see myself going to see Ninth House in concert!

Neverwhere

In all honestly I just think that Neverwhere is a super cool word or name for anything, and so of course it would make a great band name.  Its just that perfect slightly made up word of a title that so many bands seem to have nowadays, and so I wouldn’t even be surprised if there was a real band called this.

This book title literally has the word notes in it, so how could it not be a great band name?!  Not only that, but this book also focuses on Beck who plays the piano, so its no surprise that this was one of the first books that came to mind.

Call Down the Hawk

This one is for whatever reason giving me rock or metal vibes, like I can imagine them being a quite heavy band rather than a pop one.  I also definitely did not pick this one because it happens to be one of my favourite books that I want everyone to read…

STAGS

I don’t know why but I can totally imagine a band having this name, especially with the whole word in capitals like in this books title.  It just feels like it would be a good band name who would make some great music that I would definitely listen to.

What book titles do you think would make for good band names?  Do you agree with my choices?
