Top Ten Tuesday Seventy Three – Top Ten Favourite Fictional OTP’s

TTT 35 (1)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/ meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic, to celebrate Valentine’s day on Friday, is a love freebie, so I choose to discuss some of my favourite fictional couples.  I feel like I haven’t talked about some of my favourite romances in books in a while now, so this seemed like the perfect time to correct this and spread some love for these couples.  Alot of these are also more recent favourites, with a few old favourites thrown in as well.

So here are nine of my favourite fictional OTP’s!

Amanda Foody just can’t stop playing with my emotions with these two, as their relationship is never simple, as nothing is in the City of Sin.  They both grow so much throughout these books that its no surprise that relationship develops so much as well, whether it be for the better or worse – all I know is that I am definitely rooting for them in Queen of Volts!

This book had me before I even started it simply because it was a Beauty & the Beast retelling, but one of the many things it kept me hooked with was the relationship between Rhen and Harper.  Harper’s stubbornness and determination to get home mixed with Rhen’s reserved nature and various secrets just combined to give us such a beautiful romance between these two as they finally grew to trust each other.

I didn’t think a new couple could possibly come into this world and take me away from Ronan & Adam for even a second, but then these two came along and changed that.  Even though we only got to see a little of them in this first book, I can already tell that I am just going to adore seeing them slowly open up to each other and accept their undeniable feelings.

When Red, White & Royal Blue was released last year, these two stole everyone’s hearts, mine included, as we got to watch their hate-to-love romance blossom.  They’re relationship was the perfect mix of angst and cuteness as they had to grow into their romance whilst all dealing with all the external factors that come with being a prince and the presidents son.

This one seems like a fitting addition to this list considering that the adaptation of PS I Still Love You comes out tomorrow, and is definitely one I will never bore of watching or reading about.  Reading Always & Forever Lara Jean last year just confirmed how much I ship these two and just adore their cute little relationship.

There is a reason that I read this graphic novel in one sitting, and it may involve these two and the gorgeous relationship that develops between them.  I was hooked from the moment they met to that torturous ending, and so its no surprise that I can see these two worming their way even further into my heart in the next couple of volumes.

An old favourite here, but one that I had to include nonetheless as I feel like I haven’t discussed my love for them in a very long time.  They are one of my original OTP’s, and one of the fictional couples that I hold so dearly, so its no surprise that I regularly return to my favourite parts of this book whenever I need a pick-me-up.

Clearly I am a huge fan of enemies-to-lovers romance, with the few moments these two shared together enough to at least want to see so much more of their relationship.  I feel like there is so much room for these two to grow into characters that eventually may fit and work together, and I can’t wait to see the journey to that.

Although I definitely wasn’t the biggest fan of these two to start with, they certainly begin to grow on me until now, when I am super excited to see what happens next with them in Queen of Nothing.  Their relationship is so complicated and honestly I doubt I will ever understand, but one thing that I do know is that I will never stop loving watching their back and forth.

Who are some of your favourite fictional couples?  Are any of these also one of your OTP’s?
