Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/ meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This weeks topic is another TBR, and so as usual I was super excited to look at all my books and decide which ones I wanted to read during the next few months. However, this time I am actually much more likely to stick to this TBR, as I have just started university, and so I literally only have the books on this list plus a few others to chose as my next read.
So here is my Autumn TBR!
Despite having only just started my first ever Neil Gaiman book, I am already placing another of his on my TBR as his writing is already so captivating to me. This ghostly story also sounds like the perfect light Halloween read that will get me in the mood for the spooky season whilst still letting me sleep at night.
This one sounds like the most perfect murder mystery story centered around these seven young actors, as their roles on stage begin to dangerously cross over into reality, and so I am desperate to dive into hopefully at some point in October. I have also heard so many people talk about how much they love this one, and so I might be talking about this one a lot more in the future if I end up feeling the same.
After falling in love with STAGS last year, it only seemed right to place another of M. A. Bennett’s novels on my TBR for this Autumn. This one seems quite different to her first novel in some ways and similar in others, and so I am super curious to see if this one can creep me out just as much as STAGS did!
This Hunger Games-esque story seems like exactly the sort of thing I want at the moment, as it sounds like a fast-paced story of survival and horror mixed into one hopefully addicting read. I haven’t heard a ton about this one, so I’m also wondering whether this will become another hidden gem in the YA world.
After diving into and loving another of V. E. Schwab’s popular books, A Darker Shade of Magic, a few months ago, I am definitely in the mood to see if another of her hyped stories is just as good as everyone is saying. This one sees two former roommates turned enemies both set on revenge, and honestly if that doesn’t draw you in what will?!
This is yet another book that has spent way too long on my TBR pile, and so after a summer of knocking backlist books off that list, I am hoping to continue this motivation through to Autumn. I have also heard so many people rave about both this novel and the sequel, Thunderhead, and with the final book in this trilogy being published in November, it seems like the perfect time to see what I think of this story for myself.
How is Call Down the Hawk out in just over a month, and yet I still haven’t read Maggie Stiefvater’s other latest release?! I can not believe that this book is on my TBR two full years after it was released, and so I am determined to finally knock it off that list before I end up with two of her books that I need to read ASAP.
I’m been holding off reading this one for a while both because it is a hardcover which I don’t tend to read, and because it is a adult novel. However, by now I’ve seen enough people who, like me, adored The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, share their love for this one as well, and so here’s to me hoping that I this won’t be another 2019 release I let stay on my TBR for another year.
What books are on your Autumn TBR? What sort of books do you tend to gravitate towards in the Autumn time? Have you read any of these – what did you think?

I’ve heard so many good things about The Graveyard Book. I need to read that one, too. 🙂
