Top Ten Tuesday Forty Nine – Top Ten Characters I’d Like To Switch Places With

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/ meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This weeks topic is one that I found super fun and interesting, as I loved going through all of my books and thinking about whether or not I’d actually like to switch places with a character or not.  In so many of the books I read, I feel like the characters go through way more than I could ever handle, and so it was actually really strange to see which character’s places I wouldn’t mind taking all things considered.

So here are six characters who I’d like to switch places with!

Six Of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (20).png

There is only one thing better than reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo – hearing the story from the infamous Evelyn herself, as Monique does.  I can just imagine how much she would bring her own story to live, as well as how much more emotional and heartbreaking it would be to hear it from the woman herself.

Not only would I like to switch places with August, but I would also like to gain her carefree, optimistic attitude to everything in life that honestly was the best thing to read about.  She also owns lots of pets, and if that isn’t the dream in life then I honestly don’t know what is!

After recently finishing off this trilogy and revelling in the cuteness of it all, I would leap at the chance to be able to switch places with Lara Jean, if just to experience Peter Kavinsky in all of his beautiful glory.  I would also love to be apart of the Covey-Song family and to bake and watch movies with Kitty and Margo.

Exploring Edinburgh and all of its historical locations would be amazing enough in itself, but doing so whilst also being able to see the ghosts that are the centre of such legends along with my ghostly best friend would be that much better.

Six Of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (24)

I don’t think this one needs more explaining than The Raven Boys and the ladies from Fox Way, who I honestly would give everything to meet for just five minutes!  So the idea of switching place with Blue and living with Maura and all the other psychic ladies, as well as exploring and adventuring with the Gangsey is one I would love to become a reality.

Although I would definitely not like to have the stone curse, I would on the other hand like to be on the inside of the Gunpowder plot, and to watch it all unfold in front of me, especially with the magical twist Nadine Brandes puts on it in this book!

Which characters would you like to switch places with?  Do you agree with my choices?
