Top Ten Tuesday Forty Six – Top Ten Finished Series I Need To Catch Up On

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/ meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic was actually a freebie, and so after a little bit of thinking I decided to take this TTT to talk about a few of the completed series that I need to catch up on.  I feel like there are so many series that I am behind on, so to avoid making this list never-ending, I chose to focus on just those that are currently finished, as then I also have no excuse for not catching up with these books.

(sorry this is a day late – just pretend its still Tuesday!)

So here are seven finished series I need to catch up on!

I feel like I have sort of lost steam with this series recently, as can be seen by the fact that I have been about a quarter of the way through Cress ever since August, which is not something I usually ever do.  However, I know that this is a series I enjoy and can’t wait to get back into, so hopefully I can continue on with the third installment and finally complete this series soon.

With Kingdom of Ash finally being released into the world in October, I now have pretty much no excuse to not continue on with this epic series.  Even if both the size of these books, and the mixed reviews of some of the later books, do intimidate me a little, I am still determined to see for myself where this fantasy is going to go next.

I am still slowly but surely making my way through this series that I can’t believe I haven’t read yet, with the fifth book, Order of the Phoenix, being the next one on my to-read list.  As someone who grew up with the movies, I am so glad that I finally re-discovering this world through the books themselves, and so I can’t wait to tick this entire series off my list.

After I finally restarted this series earlier this year, I am desperate to catch up on and complete this series before the release of King of Scars in January, as I would love to be completely up to date on all that has happened within the Grisha-verse before the start of a new story set within this world.

This is one of the series at the top of my list to read and finish, especially as it has been 2 years since I read the first book in this trilogy, and so I am slowly beginning to forget alot of the events that happened within it.  I am also interested in starting Sara Raasch’s newest book, These Rebel Waves, so lets hope that can serve as further motivation to finally knock this series off my list.

Ever since I first read Everyday years ago now, I have been so desperate to know what happens next after that cliffhanger of an open ending.  Therefore I can not wait to finally finish off this series and have all of my questions answered in the final book Someday, now that it is out in the world and ready for me to dive straight into.

Although I only started this duology this summer, I am still determined to finish it off pretty soon so that I can focus my time on catching up with some of Alexandra Bracken’s other books that have fallen under my radar before now.  After the end of the first installment, I am also really interested to see where the story goes next, so hopefully it won’t be too long before I dive into Wayfarer and discover that for myself.

What series do you still need to catch up on?  Have you read any of these – what did you think?
