Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/ meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This weeks topic lets us all discuss what books we are hoping to read this Autumn, and so it is one, as usual, that I am really excited about. I almost always set seasonal TBR’s for myself, even if I rarely end up sticking to them, so I really enjoying putting my autumn one together for this TTT.
So here are ten books on my Autumn TBR!
This book sounds like my perfect read, as it is basically a supernatural mystery set in 1920’s New York, which is honestly all I need to know! I have also heard such amazing things about this book, which just makes me even more excited to finally read it for myself this autumn.
How have I not read this book yet?! When this was first published almost a year ago, I was so excited to have a new release from Maggie Stiefvater, and yet somehow I have still not got round to it, so I am determined to change that this autumn. It has also been so long since I have read anything from her, so I can not wait to dive back into her gorgeous writing style and explore another of her stories.
Kingdom of Ash is now so close to being released, and so it is high time that I continue catching up on this epic fantasy series, on the off chance that I might just be able to do so before the final novel is released at the end of October. I adore what I have read of this series so far, and so I can not wait to continue exploring this world and this story that just keeps getting bigger and better with every book.
After reading The Hate U Give earlier this year, I have been desperate to explore and try more books with similar themes, and so this one seems like the perfect choice to do just that. I adore the sound of this contemporary story, and I am sure that it will be another important read that really makes me think.
This is another series that I am slowly trying to catch up on before the release of Queen of Air and Darkness in December, and I am so excited to finally dive into the Dark Artifices trilogy, as it seems to be loved by absolutely everyone. I have heard that this is so many people’s favourite series by Cassandra Clare, so I can not wait to start it for myself to see if it also ends up as one of my favourites.
Autumn always feels like the perfect time to pick up historical fiction, and so I would love to finally get round to this beautiful story about a blind French girl and a German boy as they meet in occupied France during WW2. It has also been a very long time since I have dived into some good historical fiction, so I can not wait to return to this genre through this extremely well-loved novel.
I have yet to read a David Levithan book this year, and so that is something I definitely need to correct in the coming months, especially as the release of Someday creeps ever closer. I always love diving into his & Rachel Cohn’s novels, and so I am sure this one will be no different.
I have been super interested in reading this dystopian novel ever since I first heard what it was about, and so I am really hoping that I can finally read it this autumn. I am also really desperate to watch the recent TV adaptation, but as always really want to read the book first, especially as I am already super intrigued by this story anyway.
This book has been on so many TBR’s and lists of books I need to read, that it is way past time for me to actually pick this one up and read it for myself. Autumn also feels like the perfect time to finally dive into this story, as it is a historical fiction in which a boy discovers that all of an author’s books are slowly being destroyed, so I am determined to make sure this is one book I read this season.
This book has been on my TBR ever since I recieved it in a Fairyloot box, and so it is high time I actually pick it up for myself. I love the sound of this fantasy filled with mystery, deception and politics as Aurora, who has been groomed to become queen of her kingdom, faces the struggle of trying to hide the secret that unlike her ancestors, she possess no storm magic, and so I am really hoping to dive into it very soon.

What books are on your Autumn TBR? What is one book you are really hoping to get to in the next few months? Have you read any of these – what did you think?

Oh my gosh your TBR is amazing! I have pretty much all of those on my TBR that I want to get to at some point! I just need the motivation to get to them!

I really enjoyed Dear Martin! Nic Stone has another book coming out soon (only found out about that today, oops) and I’m hoping to get my hands on that one as well.
Hope you enjoy the Throne of Glass-series! I’m eagerly awaiting Kingdom of Ash, haha. Mentally preparing myself to say goodbye to all those characters is impossible, but I’m going to try anyway.
I read Roar the moment I got it last year and really liked it! Pretty unique world the author created with that book. Too bad they had to push back the release of the sequel. Think it’ll only come out in 2019 now but I’m curious to see what’ll happen next.
Hope you’ll enjoy all of these! 😀

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed Dear Martin – it definitely sounds like my sort of book, so I maybe picking up her next book very soon as well.
So many people are desperate for the release of Kingdom of Ash, so your definitely not alone! I can’t wait to continue on with the series, and hopefully finish it off pretty soon as well.
Glad to see you enjoyed Roar as well, especially because I haven’t heard that much about it. I also heard about the sequel getting pushed back, but hopefully that means that it is just going to be even better than the first 🙂

I still haven’t read All the Crooked Saints either 🙃 I remember being so excited to get and then put it away without ever reading it. Hopefully I’ll get to it some day!
