Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/ meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is one I very excited about, as I own a fair few blue, red and white books that fit into this weeks topic. Although I do not live in the US, and so don’t celebrate the 4th of July, the colours of my flag are still exactly the same, and so luckily I could still choose from the many books I own that include these colours on the cover.
So here are ten books with red, white and blue covers!
It only seemed fitting to include this book that has been gaining so much well-deserved hype recently after the release of Love, Simon, and so its red and white cover made it impossible to not mention it this week. Simon is such an inspirational character, and I urge you to pick this book up if somehow you haven’t already!
I am so happy this gorgeous book has a red cover, as it means that I can talk about even more than I already do! This story is such a gorgeously atmospheric tale that will instantly immerse you in this world Puck and Sean’s world of Thisby and of course the highly dangerous annual Scorpio Races.
This is one of my new favourite books, and so I just had to include in this weeks TTT, because not only is it a gorgeous story, but I also adore this beautifully simplistic white cover. This book is both heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time, and will really make you fall in love with Adam, Julian and the beautiful relationship and love between them.
Like A List of Cages, this book not only has a gorgeously simplistic white cover, but also an equally as beautiful story inside. I will never stop recommending this book to any one who suffers from mental illness or even anyone just wanting to read a good, accurate representation of mental illness, so please give this a read if it interests you even slightly.
Although I have yet to read this book (don’t worry, I am planning on doing so soon!), I just had to feature this gorgeous cover on this weeks list. I love the shade of blue used for the background and the simple silhouettes, and I can not wait to dive into this story, especially as I am a huge fan of Fangirl!
If you give me even if the slightest chance to do so, then I will almost certainly include a Maggie Stievfater book! This is the last book in the spectacular Raven Cycle, and like this gorgeous cover, is the perfect ending to my favourite series.
I adore the cover of this book that I determined to read before the end of the year, as I feel like I am now the only one who has yet to read this book?! I love the sound of this book, and so can not wait to dive into it and discover what all the hype is about!
Although I definitely preferred the first book in this duology, I just had to include this book as I love this cover with its simple white background and focus on the magical, time travelling ship of Nix and her father’s crew. If you want a fun, addictive and mysterious adventure this summer, I highly recommend giving these books a go.
Although the blue featured on this cover is fairly dark, I just had to pick it as not only is it one of my all time favourite books that is so underrated, but it also include both red and white as well as the blue background. This book is also a historical fiction set in America during the 1930’s, and follows Henry and Flora, the most recent players in the game of love and death.
This book fits so perfectly into this weeks topic, as it include blue, white and red on its cover, even if that is because this book is a Les Miserables retelling focusing on the character of Eponine. As someone who loves that musical, and is a particular fan of Eponine, this book was so much fun to read and is definitely one that will keep you reading until the end.

I had both The Scorpio Races and The Raven King on my list this week too. A Darker Shade of Magic is so, so good, one of my favourite books. I also really loved The Raven King and liked The Scorpio Races. I haven’t read The Game of Love and Death yet, but I really want to.

I hope you love it just as much as I did! Ah I definitely will read it, it sounds amazing, and I love slightly quirky, offbeat historical fiction, it’s just a case of when I do eventually get round to it!

You’re a good photographer. I like that you took photos instead of just using covers from Goodreads.
