Top Ten Tuesday Twenty Five – Top Ten Best Character Names

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/ meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This weeks topic was one I was super excited about, as it is one that I have always enjoyed doing in the past and so couldn’t wait to give another go.  As I have done this topic, or similar variations of it, before, this time I did try to choose different character’s just to mix things up a little.  I’ve also read a good few more books since the last time I talked about some of my favourite character names, so I already had a few more that I knew I had to include in this weeks TTT.

So here are ten of my favourite character names!

Six Of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (3).png

Despite not being 100% sure how to pronounce this awesomely badass character’s name for almost the entirety of Six of Crows, I am still in love with it nonetheless.

Whether this be Dorian from Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas or the slightly more villainous Dorian Grey created by Oscar Wilde, this name is still one of my favourites for whatever reason.

You didn’t expect me to get through this entire list without including a character from The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater, which just happens to be my favourite book series, did you?

I am sucker for names after months, and so August from the Monsters of Verity duology by V. E. Schwab is definitely one of my favourite character names.

Furyborn by Claire Legrand was a spectacular book for so many reason, including this awesome character’s name.

I’m almost certain I would be a fan of this name even if it wasn’t the name of one of my favourite characters from the Shadowhunter world, but the fact that it is just makes me love it that little bit more.

Six Of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (12)

This is from one of my very recent reads, but I couldn’t miss this gorgeous characters name from When my Heart Joins the Thousands by A. J. Steiger off my list.

Please don’t ask me why I love this simple but unique name from We Were Liars by E. Lockhart, because in all honesty I am not too sure myself – I just know I do!

Six Of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (17).png

Not only I am completely in love with the character of Nikolai from the Grisha series by Leigh Bardugo, but I also adore his name.

I am completely in love with this characters name, as well as her nickname Shazi, from The Wrath and the Dawn duology by Renee Ahdieh, almost as much as I adore the character herself.

What are some of you favourite character names?  Do you agree with any of my choices?  Have you read any of the books these characters are from – what did you think?
